Internships here at Hope for Justice are a great way to gain experience. We think this is a fantastic way to play a hands-on role in restoring freedom whatever your specialism. Interns are an important part of our team and your contribution is highly valued. If you’ve got the right skills and a great attitude we want to hear from you. Below are the positions we offer each year, take a look and see what sounds great to you.

Internship Programme

We offer the following streams:

  • Aftercare: APPLICATIONS OPEN UNTIL JUNE 30 – starts August 2013 (requires social work or healthcare degree)
  • Creative: APPLICATIONS OPEN UNTIL JUNE 30 – starts July 2013 (requires degree in relevant creative field, please see Role Descriptions)
  • Legal: OPENS OCTOBER 2013 – starts January 2014 (requires law degree)

Our internships are full-time (9am – 5:30pm) for 6 months and our interns are paid £500 a month. Each intern has a supervisor who is an experienced professional in the relevant field. You’ll be able to learn loads from these skilled and passionate team members.

All our interns share a mentor who adminstrates the programme and meets with them for a 1-on-1 once a month and also brings the whole of Team Intern together monthly. These value added sessions help interns think beyond their current job roles and provide a great forum for ideas and growth. Your mentor is the person who will take you out for coffee, provide a listening ear and give advice based on their own experience as a former intern and current staff member at Hope for Justice.
